are you using an ftp program or the ftp file applet

the server shouldn't be down this long

and not sure since when you have been trying either since you posted 9/23/07 that date hasn't come yet

so try again later or something

I see your site so not sure on your changes if they are not taking place then clean out your cache/temporary internet files folder and do a hard refresh if you have published them

depending on what way you are trying

the ftp file applet most often doesn't work great. I use an ftp program myself a whole lot better

okay, EIGHTH month/23/2007. I have been successful up until that date in all my publishing changes. I keep getting an FTP Bravehost connection failure message. I have smart FTP but only use it to FTP my mp3's to a dumpsite. I simply hit the "Publish" button in the Website Wizard...to no avail.
