better be sure you are using the wizard

because the wizard only will make changes done there

if you by mistake edited in the file manager editors and then went to the wizard to publish perhaps it just wiped out your work


or you can try to clean out your cache/temporary internet file folder and do a hard refresh and see if the page comes up as the one you updated
