Im trying to create a fan site, I need help with Altering color layout, pics and writing plz read!!

How do I put on the message forum web tool and all the other web tools? It just keeps saying that they are being copied to my clip board? Im so unsure here.
Also how do I put my own pictures and big bold fancy letter writing on to my site as i am trying to make a fansite! How do I edit the colours layout for it also. It is the basic package I have! Plz Help TY
