How do you post changes to your website

I can't seem to figure out how to post changes I have made to my website. I make the necessary changes in the index.html, but once I save the changes I do not know how to get the changes to transfer over to the website.

Thank you

Re: How do you post changes to your website

waht exactly do you mean by posting changes? if you mean viewing the changes then just refresh your browser. if you still cant see the changes there is some problem with the code.

Re: How do you post changes to your website

When you are using the Visual or Text editors, available in the File Manager, you changes are available to the internet immediately after you save. It is common not to see the changes immediately, due to your browser's cache. Try forcing two or three browser refreshes (F5 or Ctrl-R). This will force your browser to get fresh data from your web site, and show you your changes.

It appears that your web site was originally a Website Wizard Theme. But you are now editing it with a different editor, probably the Visual editor in the File Manager. The Visual editor has the unique ability to delete tags, which Wizard Themes are very dependent on. It is not recommended that you edit a Wizard Theme from anywhere, except within the Wizard. Those who have tried it usually wind up with a disaster. If you don't want to use the Wizard, that's fine, but you might want to try this link to my help page on Working With Bravenet Templates. The page on Template Editing has links to several good free web page design applications.

Re: How do you post changes to your website

what editor are you even using to make your page

right now your page looks so odd looking and hardly any content to it and more

so if you are using the wizard to make your page then you edit there and hit the publish button when you are done

if you are using the file manager editors then you save
