When you create a page in the Wizard, and then use the "publish" option, your web pages are written to your web site. But, if you then delete a page in the Wizard, and then use the "publish" option, only the current pages are written to your web site.
The page you deleted from within the Wizard, however, will still exist on your web site, but none of the other Wizard pages will have it in their navigation links. If you attempt to add another page with the same name in the Wizard, and then "publish", the page on your web site will be overwritten. Since the Wizard doesn't have a "undo" button, your stuck recovering it manually.
The simplest thing to do is download the old file to your local PC. You can use the FTP Applet or almost any other FTP tool you might have. Then open it up in a text editor like Notepad. The file will have all of the content from before, but it will also have a lot of HTML tags. With Notepad still opened, log into your Bravenet account, navigate to the Wizard, and add your page again. Then use a copy/paste from Notepad into the content areas on your page.
It would be prudent to use the File Manager to change the name of the existing file, so you don't overwrite it accidentally from the Wizard. Then you can open it up in the File Manager's Text editor. You could do all the copy/paste on line, but it would be a bit clumsy, having to switch back and forth between the File Manager and the Wizard.
you can't get the page back into it's original spot with the wizard
the wizard makes your navigation bar/putting the pages in the order you make them.
So let's say you delete the pictures page and it was the 2nd page listed then it probably is the last page now since you are remaking it
so move to using the file manager editor or delete your pages and start from scratch making the pages in the order you want them to be on your navigation bar.
if switch to the file manager DO NOT GO BACK TO THE WIZARD AGAIN. just save your pages there and they are published
I wish I could learn html but it for the most part - confuses me. I know basics and that's about it.
What I've learned is that I can save my pages from the applet to my computer. I then can delete them from the wizard. I have to put them all back in the order I want BUT I now have the pages saved and can do them.
