Website Wizard - page linking

Is there any way to create a new page in Website Wizard and not have it linked to all the other pages automatically?

Thanks in advance for any responses or help.

Re: Website Wizard - page linking

Basically, no. If you stay within the Wizard, there is no utility to create a page that is not linked to all the other pages.

Some users handle this by creating a page in the Wizard, adding all it’s content, going through the publish process, and then going back to the Wizard and deleting the page. The publish process wrote the web page to your web site. Deleting it from within the Wizard, does not erase it from your site. You can then open the file with the Visual or Text editors, available in the File Manager. Of course, the Wizard will never be able to see and manage that page again. And you will need to be careful not to accidentally create a new one with the same name.

Some users work with this very well. The Wizard’s Layouts don’t seem to have much trouble. But some of the Wizard Themes are carefully crafted, and pretty easy to turn into junk. Believe me, it doesn’t take much.

You can also just create your own page from Visual/Text editors in the File Manager. Then you don’t have any of the restrictions that the Wizard places on you.

Another option is to use one of the templates from the Template Gallery. You can upload one to your site and edit it from the File Manager. Or, download it to your PC, and use any number of web page design applications. You might want to try the link to my help pages on Working with Bravenet Templates. The page on Template Editing has links to several good web page design applications that download for free.
