Adsense hasn't been a problem in the past, it could have been something else but as you haven't posted a link to the site we can't even start to guess.
Before paying for hosting double check that your site does not breach Google's terms of service.
Don't expect to make much on Adsense. You will be lucky of more than 1% of page views convert into clicks. Expect clicks to average somewhere between 5c and 20c.
