How do I publish my site?

Its people WHO upload their own files. Ive upload some using file manager but I dont know how to publish them....or set one of them as the main page.

In order to set one as your main page, rename it index.html before uploading.

How to "publish"? Uploaded pages are published. The need to click a Publish button is particular to the Wizard.

What if you don't use a wizard(can't for class). Then once you've uploaded the file..there is no button to publish...what to do next??

I actually worked this out about two minutes after I posted it. Copy the html you want for your main page and go into edit index.html and delete the code that is currently there and then paste your code in and save it. Viola! Instant website.

Uploading IS publishing.

To use your domain or subdomain name without quoting a specific file name you MUST have a file called index.htm or index.html on your site.

I tried the Java FTP, but it wouldn't work advice would be helpful!
