when i click publish and then go to my web page , it is not found. any ideas.?

mine normally works fine

but today when I went to update a web page and publish it

it will save in my microsoft front page

but when I open the actual web page it's the old page
and is not updated

I am thinking there may be some updating going on at bravenet
and an alternate server is providing the page
and that's why i can save it, but doesn't appear how it is suppose to, but that's just me guessing

I may give em a bit of time before I email them, as my sites not for business, no real rush :)

i have deleted my cache and history

and updated the page

so ? we shall see

You might need to force a reload of your page in your browser. Sometimes you own computer will show you the cached copy of the page and not the new copy.

Try this:

Hold the "Ctrl" key and then click the "F5" while you are at your website on your borwser...This will force your computer to show you the NEW page and not the cached one!

this is crazy

I have a paid pro web hosting with bravenet

I have had two replies from bravenet that say

"Please reply with the receipt for the purchase so that we can resolve this for you shortly."

I didn't buy anything. I already have an account paid for.

The page opens in my front page

but not my browswer, neither explorer or firefox will open it as updated

so I made a new web page and saved it to prove my point. I told bravenet to open it in front page. They will see the web page. Then open it in explorer, and notice the page does not open. Why pray tell? I have been publishing for over a year with front page. Below is the page. Does it open in your browser? Anyone. Bravenet doesn't seem to want to test this problem and resolve it for me even though I have told them exactly what to do to isolate the problem.

I am not happy with the communication I have received from bravenet.

I had to make a small change to my BUSINESS site and it won't publish. I get notices to "refresh" because the server is shutting down.
Is this a bravenet problem? Never had any problems before. It always published quickly with no problems. I have information out there that HAS to get published!!
