I CAN SEE MY PICS BUT OTHERS CAN'T

IS THIS BECAUSE THE ADDRESS FOR MY PICS IS A FOLDER ON MY HARDDRIVE? WILL LOADING THEM TO 'MY PHOTOS' IN YAHOO AND USING THAT AS THE ADDRESS SITE IE. A WEB PAGE HELP?
