How do i get someone to download a file, whether it be a normal text,html,htm,or zip file from my site i'm in the process of building my site so i can't find anything about that in the bravenet files.

so if someone could please help me out and explain it to me as simply as possible that would be great.

ex. a customer views my webpage, they like an article or whatever it is and want to download it, how can i do that.

If the web browser that your visitor is running understands how to process a specific file type then it will process those files. All other file types will be offered for download.

To download a file instead of hAving your browser process it you can right click on the link to the file and select to save it instead of display it.
