Page looked alright to me. The home page took some time to download because of the heavy load of graphics.
Might put up a warning message to that effect for people with slower computers, browsers and connections. Remember to tell them that it is well worth the wait!
Better still resize the graphics. Give people an opportunity to access larger ones if they are interested but oversizing them puts visitors off and wastes your bandwidth. It will still be a few years before you can assume that all your visitors directly connected to a fast broadband connection.
