Help! I've used the text editor and the visual editor to make changes, but I keep getting blank space in between the words.

You may have the margin on that is usually for column spacing like mainly in newspapers, magazines, etc.
Go back and put your spacing on the left hand side.

Your webpage layout will not handle column spacing.

You may have to go back and readjust some of the spacing that is thrown off.

Also use your spell check. You have some spelling problems in your webpage. I did not check for grammar. If you wish to publish and sell an e-book it would be wise to you your spell check. It will not catch everything. Be careful with the spell check. It is sometimes a good idea to have a paper back dictionsry on free online dictionary just to check the spell check.
