I have built a website with notepad and saved it on a diskette as "my.htm".
My problem now is how to host and publish it as my frontpage.
Henceforth,I will be much grateful If i could be directed on how to host and publish my website as frontpage.
First FrontPage is a product manufactured by Microsoft, the term you are looking for is "home page". I nearly passed over this post because I thought that you were asking about how to use the Microsoft product.
1. Rename the file index.html
2. Log in to your Bravenet account
3. Select Manage Hosting
4. Select File Manager
5. Use File Manager to upload.
You can also upload your files with the Front Page utilities. For info on how to use same just go to the help file in Front Page. Look under publishing to website. This will tell you exactly what to do.
Either way mentioned so far should work. First file should always be called index when saved. But on the editing side you can title it what ever you want.
