HELP PLEASE!

Hi, does anybody know how to have a window that is part of your site and comes up when a visitor clicks on a link etc.???

One way to do it requires the use of frames.
These are tricky to use and, if I'm not mistaken, framesets are not allowed on Bravehost's free hosting plan.
