Question?

My website is htp.............................

Could anyone please explain why I cannot view my site from a search engine but I can reach it from the address bar. Is this because I haven't submitted it to the search engines yet?
I live in Astralia so that is not an issue. I have not got firewall installed and have the latest Yahoo browser. Is there another reason for this?

Any assistance will be appreciated

Yes you will need to submit to search engines for indexing. From my exp. it takes about 6 weeks after submittal for indexing. Make sure you have a meta tag on your site before submitting. As always you can find paid and free submission services. They are all over the web.

2] what is a meta tag? you mentioned to be sure to have one on site - i haven't a clue. can you please advise what it is and where i get one?
