All the instructions on how to enable it should be on the site you obtained the forum code from. Usually these packages also require MySQL access. However, on Bravenet, only the Premium Hosting Package supports PHP and MySQL. With a free site, you probably wouldn't even be able to upload most of the code, due to the file type restrictions.
