how do I resize my pictures of my paintings so I can post them here to this web site .

Install a suitable graphics program on your PC. Try Irfanview - its free.

Kodax Easy Share program. It came with my camera.

Joe,

Surely you must have at least one graphic program. One usually comes with each scanner, camera, cam, etc. Use the HELP area in the graphic program to find out how to resize your photos.

A large photo for online is approx. 500 pixels high. It nearly fills up the page. Check out my site for examples.
