robot txt and redirecting URL

We just started our domain here and Do I need to add a robot txt file to allow for the search engines?

Also is our domain name redireted thru a bravenet.com ???

You only need a robots.txt file if you want to stop some pages being indexed by search engines. Full indexing is the default if the file is not found.
