Welcome Paul and Richard! Great to have the guys back isn't it?

Re: Introduce yourselves!

Hi my name is Joanne. I am 39 and I live in Belfast. I have 2 lovely girls 10 and 3 and a hubby who is a little bit older and is into all weird and wonderful music. Late 80's would have had me listening to Talk Talk, Blue Nile, Van Morrison, Pink Floyd etc (hubbys tastes). Up til 1988 I was probably listening to Go West, Spandau Ballet and then converted to a hippy in 88 when went to see Def Leppard. I have loved rock music from then been to Def Leppard, Whitesnake, Magnum, Fleetwood Mac concerts that kinda thing (not a lot though). These days I listen to everything esp anything quite dancey (!) but only cause I run a lot and need to get meself going. Our city is getting better but a lotta the time we have to travel further afield as some groups don't visit Belfast. Anyway the Belfast gig will be my first ever experience of these guys (never heard of them before) and I am keen to get listening to a few albums before then. All I can say is I cannot wait!

Re: Introduce yourselves!

Welcome Jo! You'll find plenty to help you get acquainted with FM on all the sites - facebook, myspace, the webshop here, youtube, last.fm.... Lots to listen to and watch, enjoy!

Re: Introduce yourselves!

Firstly it's great to see the band back and touring.

I became a fan after I met the guys when they were recording 'Takin it to the streets' (I think :S) at Pitt Chapel near Winchester.
Spent some time showing them a couple of Winchester pubs and was lucky enough to join them on the night they finished at the studio.
Always found Andy an excellent chap and Petes love of his white Escort XR3i became stuff of legend in the village (when he wasn't drumming he was outside washing his car!!) Didge was obviously an outsider even bacj then (didn't see him drinking with the rest of the band at all) and it was no surprise that when I next caught up with them in kentish town a year or two later, he was no longer part of the band.

Me...i've gone from being an irritating 18 year old to an irritating 39 year old.....had a 16 year career in Archaeology...moved to Scotland where I now live with my wife and son in a stupidly large humourously crumbly old house!

Re: Introduce yourselves!

Hi All,
My name's Aly and I live near Bolton. Was a big fan of FM back in the day and think I saw them live about three times..(memory a bit hazy because much Jack Daniels has been consumed since then!!) I remember getting into FM when I used to go to the rock clubs in Wigan and Manchester. Met the guys at a signing in Warrington years back. I LOVE the Indiscreet album. Didn't know that the guys were back together until this week when I heard a familiar voice on Radio 2 (we have the music piped into our place of work so could never catch whether it was FM or not, finally got the other half to shazam the tune and hey presto....there it was, FM and Hollow!! I immediately came home and played some of those wonderful tracks that I loved so much. Talk about reliving my youth, feel bad about neglecting them but they are back and they're on my ipod and now have the new album. Hopefully will get to see you live sometime soon [:D]

Re: Introduce yourselves!
