Sorry for the very lengthy delay in my reply - I have recently moved house and have been without a PC for a while!

Thank you for doing some digginf for me - anything I can find to get more of a picture of the area around the early 1900's is really helpful! Obviously if there was ever a link between The George Hotel and the cinema it was probably pre 1913, although we think that our family owned the hotel until the mid 1920's or so.

Am currently recording any info & memories from my relatives and also hope to visit the Wanstead area at some point.
