Distributor Interchangability

Tire Air Pressure
I have been told different Air Pressure for my Tires. I have been using 45lb's, it was suggested to use 35lb's. that seems to soft. What should I be using for proper tire wear, etc.? My tires are 4" x 31" on my 1923 A22 Durant 4 Dr. Sedan.
