I also have a question that needs answering. Hey Pup - in the situation that you have runners on first and third, and the batter hits a ground ball down the third base line. the ball hits the bag and then bounces up and hits the base runner who accidentally stepped into fair territory. there are no outs at the time. The third baseman picks up the ball and attempts to turn a double play 5-4-3. The batter is safe at first. The runner on first is out at second. The runner on third then attempts to score. The catcher gets the ball from the first baseman and gets the runner in a run-down. Catcher throws to third baseman-the runner turns back to score and runs into the catcher. The runner drop kicks the pitcher(covering home) and crosses the plate. I was wondering what the correct scoring in the scorebook for a situation like this might be? Happy Holidays Pup!!.................Caddy
