Message:   The water temp is hanging in the mid 50's compared to last year where it wasaround 63. The bite is slower you can find some fish on beds but they are far and few between. The fish are still hanging off a bit. I would try slowing down almost dead sticking. For me brass and glass, split shotting and drop shotting with a short drop seemed to pick up quanity but not a lot of large fish. The swim bait bite is there but not screaming work them slow along the bottom in deeper water. Osprey and Baitsmith is my choice. On the warmer day's you cna rip a few fish the key for me has been hard bottom of points.
