I will be doing the snowdon race this year, which is a 2500 ft climb fell race. I train on dartmoor, but wondered if anyone knows where i can find the highest climb on the moor, as i need to get used to running up a 30 degree slope for an hour!

there are some 1200 ft tors, but unfortunately the car park is at 900ft ! ha ha. Does anyone know a good long steep hill in devon or cornwall moors? Ideally over a 1000ft climb?

I could always use the treadmill in the gym (as others have advised) but would then be denied the pleasure of the biting wind, rain,mud and hail (you lot understand don't you)
