Some Oregonians have started a new prolife group entitled Life Support, and I encourage you to get involved with them. Their Director is David Brownlow,and he is notifying Churches, Legislators, and the public that they intend to challenge the use of Oregon's Medicaid money to pay for abortions. It ia a violation of federal law to use taxpayer funded Medicaid money to pay for, refer for, advise for abortions. Oregon Senator Gary George said, "we intend to make a big issue of it."

Ohter states who should follow the example of LIfe Support and outlaw the use of Medicaid money to pay for abortions are California, Washington, Hawaii and Montana, and any other state that illegally pays for abortions with federal dollars.
