Planet 3

Jay,
How cool to see you spend some of your time posting in this forum!

I've got a Planet 3 Q for you: with the recent re-release of Planet 3's record plus the Gems Unearthed compilation, is there a chance of you getting back together with Glen and Clif to make music in the future. I know scheduling such a thing probably would be a nightmare with all that's going on in careers, but I dare to ask about the possibility of a new Planet 3 record. I'd love to see where you guys are musically at today. You're all fantastic songwriters and Clif's such an amazing singer (why he hasn't sung more on albums than he has is beyond comprehension) and I'd love to hear more from you three!

Thanks for reading!

Re: Planet 3

What a pity! I'll enjoy what's already there though. Oh, another P3Q if you don't mind: do you know if there are differences between the versions of Jenny's Still in Love appearing on Gems Unearthed and Clif Magness' solo record? I've tried to compare them back to back but can't seem to find any differences - are they basically the same versions?

Re: Planet 3

A shame, I agree.. but it's one of the best cd's I ever heard, especially the songs 7 & 8 while to contradict myself, I can't pick any 'standouts' cause I think it's an amazing album. This album had and has a truly incredible effect on my life and I just can't stop getting crazy about it years later after playing it all the time. I had a new found pleasure in aquiring the sweden version a while back with the different bonus track which I really love. Very happy cause I searched for it for a very long time and then got it just like new for a great price. Also the sound was quite good with the 92 cd which I didn't expect. Still my younger brother said I want my ears cleaned out if I can't hear 'how much' better the remaster sounds (I said the 92 cd sounded almost as good). I think he's probably right that it's significantly better but I'm very happy to own the sweden version too. Great album and thanks very much to Kerstin and you for the lovely website to go with it. It's been much appreciated and enjoyed by my brother and I. All the best. Cheers.
