Lydney
Spoken to my nephew, Pete Macklin, Lydney scourge of Hellenic defences and referees, re tuesday. The game will be at Harrow Hill, but if it is at all cold the ground will freeze over as the sun never gets to it. This is the problem with the whole of Wales. If I learn early I will post.

Cheers for the update Gossers dad!
I've been to wales many times and the lack of sun, is defintly not the problem. It's those god **** sheep. Doing their dirty business everywhere.

Re: Lydney
For once it is not raining here in Wales. In fact, there is a strange yellow ball in the sky so I anticipate that the Lydney game will be on. Family team news.Nephew Joe Macklin, capt of Lydney, and a very good, thoughtful defender, is injured and probably wont play. Nephew, Pete Macklin, sent off on Sat for violent conduct - he tangled legswith a defender, both went down and as Pete got up he trod on the lad - will play. Son, J is hoping to be fit to play. I am looking forward to the game very much. Will try to post if or when the game is called off.
