Re: 06 Rover LR3

Upper mld id reusable if you don't damage it. No wires on the sides just for rain sensor and mirror. The plastic rivits on a pillar mlds use a small screw to screw into the pin that spreads the rivit then pull pin out with pliers. Put screwed in side of pin on inside of rivit when installing. Nothing hard about the rest of this install. HTH

Re: 06 Rover LR3

the rivets lee is metioned is not on the lr3. they use 5 clips on each side. use a panel puller to pop moldings off towards you. or just order new molding and things are good. not to expensive. verify if it is heated or non, with or w/o r/s. if heated you must remove the interior "a" pillar moldings. there is a torx screw under the air bag tab towards the top. loosen the screw and the molding will rmeove very easy. the mirror twists off. MAKE SURE TO SHOW THE CUSTOMER THAT THE COWL IS WARPPED BEFORE YOU BEGIN. IT WILL SAVE YOU A HUGE HEADACHE. the dealer will usually warrnaty these if the car has under 50000 miles. two man set is easier, but one man is no problem( but i do more of these than i do 1549's sometimes). the cowl snaps in, very easy to remove.
