Re: 05 escape dw 1579

Does she mean the dip cut out for the wire for power mirrors? Does she think you cut the headliner in a perfect half circle?

Re: 05 escape dw 1579

had this happen before. all headliners have a larger gap in the center than at each corner. check out a new(or used) escape yourself before speaking to her. does the manufacture allow for this slightly larger gap so that the optional overhead consol can be installed properly? also, the rigidity of the headliner will weaken over time. this is what i've said in the past. good luck..

Re: 05 escape dw 1579

Have had many customers call over the years with inquiries and/or complaints about the edge of their headliners on many differet vehicles. Truth is most have never looked there before. Just last week did a f2510, customer called said her molding was missing. Race there to find she thought there was supposed to be a molding to finish the edge of the headliner. Because so few manufacturers finish this edge I have also been accused of cutting it off.....twice! If this is the case u need to have the cust find a similar car for comparison. Or print out more of the appropiate posts and show them.
