Hold the switch in the up position until set in the upper channel and hold for at least 5 seconds. 2. Hold the switch in the down position until fully lowered and hold for at least 5 seconds. 3. Confirm reset through POWER UP and POWER DOWN feature. 4. Repeat if necessary.

Butch R. Bastad May 9th, 2008 - 4:14 PM	Re: 08 MERCEDES C300 ANTI PINCH RESET? Thanks Syd. I sent him off to the dealer to have it reset. I tried every possible combination of that. I even checked with a few body shop friends of mine who said the same procedure.
Syd May 9th, 2008 - 5:37 PM	Re: 08 MERCEDES C300 ANTI PINCH RESET? Spoke to the dealer today. He said it is the same reset procedure. I think the key with this as it is with many of the resets is to not activate the express feature during the reset process. I was doing a reset a week or so ago and the switch was nearly impossible to press/pull with activating it. Trying to hold the switch in the up position for 10 seconds without pulling too hard to activate the express can be Very frustrating. Luckily, around my area, most Benz customers are very faithful to the dealer and have no problem going back for something like this. If anyone is successful with this procedure on this vehicle, let us know.
