07 GM PU & SUV

Just read the article in AUTOGLASS JOUNAL about removing the W/S 1658 & 1659 from the GM PU and SUV. They explained how to remove or disconnect the electronics to, I guess the air bag system. We have done several of these vehicles and was not aware of this procedure. We have never had a problem on these installs. Maybe I am out in left field. Does anyone have input on this subject?
Thanks.......

Re: 07 GM PU & SUV

We've put a ton of these in without one comeback for distortion. Believe it or not they are PPG's.

Re: 07 GM PU & SUV

I have been lucky also, But everyone I do I can find a distortion but so far none came back, Man Whats up with PPG, I did a Ford Fusion for my Neighbor, The PPG part was way out of bow, Top Middle was High and had big distortion in it, Made in USA at the Nashville plant, Then I did a 1341 PPG Same plant.... DISTORTION!!!! I take great pride in offering my customers BRAND name parts made in the USA. PPG, on the way out!!
