compass reset

Did a search for compass reset found only GM info. Working on a 2000 Continental, anybody know if it is the same. Driving in circles at a slow speed?...Haven't tried it yet, battery went dead. It's Monday...Thanks

Got it! Same as the GM cars, drive in a circle a few times....

Did this happen Because You unpluged the Mirror and turned the ignition ON ...While the mirror was disconnected ...??
Or it just happens for no reason.
