Re: whistle

Hmmm...does she have a hole in her upper lip?

If you can't hear it or find a leak then how are you supposed to fix it.

Maybe it is her haring aids ringing. LOL

Re: whistle

I was a Mortatman in the Marines and Also on the Divisional Rifle and Pistol team so my hearing sucks. I have been on countless drives with customers that had air noise (not all mine) and I just tell them I just cant hear it, but if you say it's there then I believe you...

Re: whistle

Check for the clips at the bottom of the A moldings. They have a tendency to come off and go bouncing down into the fender. Without them, a whistle is definately possible as we saw this happen before.
(they slide into the bottom of the molding while clipping under the edge of the fender and the glass)
P.S. They can be retrieved if that is the case.

Re: whistle

most whistles come from the base check the gasket on the cowl between the hood & make sure it's secure then procede to the doors to see if they need to be adjusted tighter to the gasket. The other part that has made noise before is the after market molding check & see if it still sitting flush other then that stop assuming it's the glass 99% of the time it's not! unless your a top installer for the big guys.

Re: whistle

I've had a few of these whistle through the side moldings. If they're not put down right, it'll whistle dixie all day long. I've seen the same thing with the Chrysler Pacifica.

Re: whistle

have not had this problem, but have had it on econoline vans. if the molding is to soft on the replacement w/s, air will travel form the bottom corner of the w/s up along the appliar and cause a humming noise fron the molding. i finally realized that is why ford place a small amount of silicone towards the bottom of the pinchweld. only happend a few we installed that had softer than normal moldings and during the wounderful summer months in the desert. i seen similar foam on honda moldings towards the bottom, even buytl type seal(fw 2064 and some odessy vans). that is prbably they applied it there. try it , it might help.
