lock out unit question
We have a lock out unit that we have not put in for trade yet... wondering if I split it up would I be able to get it back together if I later decided I needed a bigger unit... Right now we are thinking more vacations would be better... but if for some reason we wanted to bring people with us the lock out would be good! |

If you give a "part" of your unit to an exchage company, it is no longer for you to use. The only way to get it back would be to "try" with the exchange company---VERY unlikely. (Pay the exchange fee; hope to get the unit type; and hope to get the "exact" unit---NO WAY !!!) What you might want to do, is get 2 separate reservation for your unit---one for the larger size, and one for the smaller/lockoff size. If you find that you don't need the "complete" unit, then you can give it to an exchange company |

So Can I turn in two one bedroom units to get a two bedroom? Does it work like that? |

No, you can't swap two units for one larger unit. The system just doesn't work that way. |

Sounds like I am screwed either way... cuz you know if I deposit it as 2 units sure enough I will need 1 big unit... and if I don't I won't need it... ahhhh no one explained that one to us on the sales pitch!! hehehehe
