Salty taste in mouth

I have minor adult asthma and have been hydrating with sea salt for three weeks now. I immediately stopped taking my Advair and have had very good results. Now I have a constant salty taste in my mouth, 24/7, as well as dry mouth. I have read where there may be unrelated causes for this, but I was wondering if anyone else has experienced this related to water cure. Many thanks !
