Muscle twitches

I am getting muscle twitches all over my body at every single moment of every single day. It is driving me bonkers! They have been happening for about 5 months. At night i also get sharp pains and cramps in my feet and hands. These are also sometimes accompanied by pins and needles or a crawling feeling over my scalp and body. I am just wondering if this water diet will help wth my problem and if i need to take any other supplements. I am taking magnesium

Re: Muscle twitches

Almost anything is possible if you are water and/or salt deficient. Read the water cure recipe on our watercure2.org home page.
If you don't get results within two days email me at watercure2@comcast.net.
It sounds like you must be salt deficient as that will cause night cramps. When I get leg cramps, I take a little water & put a pinch of salt on my tongue and they are gone in about one minute.
Let me know how you are doing in two days.

Re: Muscle twitches

You are low in potassium, potassium is a muscle regulator and when it gets to low or to high you get muscle spasm and bad cramps.Salt can help but your problem is potassium and maybe salk to. I work in construction and i sweat so bad that I have to keep a bottle of water with me at all times.I also have a bottle of thermoltabs salt tabs for salt depletion.I was talking the salt tabs and drinking the water but at home at night my muscles would start jumping and twiching so bad it kelp my awake.Don't even try to eat food with potassium in them because the polution in the ground cause food to have less minerals includeing potassium.I went to see a doctor and told him i wanted my potassium check he told me my potassium was good. Then one night my muscles was jumping so bad I decited to go to the hospital, the doctor on duty tested me and found my potassium was all most depleted.he prescribe postassium pill and the rest is history.Potassium salt calcium magnesium zink,ya DEAD without it or sick as a dog when its low,god bless.

Re: Muscle twitches

You might have already found this out for yourself since this was posted over 3 months ago. But I wanted to say, I have the same problem... Not only do they twitch alllll day, but they seize up into HEAVY Charlie Horses at night! The only thing that stops it is heavy water intake for me. I haven't tried this water cure, but I bet it would work! Anytime I drink very little water, I have leg twitches the next day. I had my nutrient levels checked and sodium and potassium was fine. Anyway, hope that helps.

does anyone have any experience with tremor or extreme nervousness?

Hi Rebecca, Crystal & Chris
I will attempt to share what I know of mineral therapy.
About 100 years ago Dr W Scheussler of Germany was credited with the discovery that the incinerated body’s ash can be classified into 12 minerals. Sodium Chloride or table salt is one of them.
His remedies are sold as Tissue Salts, Cell Salts or Scheussler’s Biochemic Salts. They are always prepared in the homeopathic 6x potency with Latin names shown on the bottle. eg Mag Phos for Magnesium Phospate, Kali Phos for Potassium Phosphate or Calc Phos for Calcium Phosphate etc.
In Australia, Blackmores Limited produces for sale a pharmaceutical version known as the Celloid® Minerals in milligram doses.
Sensations of crawling, pins and needles; burning or electric-like pain; tremors, muscle twitches; restless or jerky legs are some of the deficiency symptoms of Magnesium Phosphate and Potassium Phosphate. When these 2 minerals are given, the symptoms just go away.
Other deficiency symptoms can include but not necessary all of the following: Dry tongue and dry mouth, dislike crowded places, dislike bright lights and loud noises, anxious, irritable, angry for no reason, emotional, weepy, cry easily for no reason, disturbed sleep, depressed, anxious. All these symptoms can be classified as nerves related. Again, when Magnesium Phosphate and Potassium Phosphate are given to the patient, all of these symptoms eventually subside and disappear.
As for cramps, the mineral required depends on whether the cramping muscles allow to be massaged. If so, Magnesium Phosphate is needed. If the cramping muscles are very sensitive to be touched, Calcium Phosphate is needed.
Louis C Kervran’s book on “Biological Transmutations” explained how the body converted one mineral into another by combining with hydrogen, oxygen or carbon. Salt water provides the ingredients of Sodium Chloride, Hydrogen and Oxygen for the body to do its conversion to what is needed. That is why this ‘water cure’ is such a versatile remedy!
Cheers!
