Lots to Talk About
I hope that this forum takes off. There's lots to talk about. Many issues either get ignored or glossed over. Here's something to get things going. Do you like the improvements to Safeway? Will you change your shopping habits? |

Good morning Catus Bob, You are so right, let's get it going with the new design of Safeway. What a welcomed change. The whole atmosphere is pleasing and makes you want to shop.I can remember when the Safeway was in the Post Office building, that's when I used to live here as a young girl. Many changes since then and it has taken all these years to get these changes, but it was a good change. The lighting in the store eases stress of the day and stepping into any area with fresh brewed coffee aroma is just the ticket. If only the other store would come up to date and do the same. Safeway stores have long had the 'senior citizen' aspect and I think that is why a lot of people don't shop there, now with the new appearance it makes the young feel at home. It still has the slow appeal, but maybe that will change with time and having people come over from the stand by location. Just like real estate it is all about location. Now if they (the town) would just put the main street back the way it used to be, all would be great.
