Is this for real? Another Forum for Craigites?
Well, I'm not very happy that the Moffat County News doesn't host their own forum, and instead relies on Bravenet, but we'll see how it goes. Is anyone else up for a second forum for Moffat County? Maybe the Morning News will be giving the Daily Press a real run for their money. For the publisher, just don't wimp out when the issues and words get hot and heavy. There are some real important issues that we Moffat County citizens need to get aired, such as corruption within the Sheriff's Dept, incompetence within the DA, and we sure didn't appreciate it when the daughter in law of the Sheriff's candidate had responded to posts in the Daily Press's forum and had basically confirmed that the character flaws of the candidate were true and the Daily Press yanked the entire forum off line, just a week or so before the election... We got trouble, right here in River City. So, let the music man sing his song and we, the people, will get to the bottom of it. This is a nice way to sidestep the liability issue. I truly believe that the internet has opened the door for exposing a lot of crime, corruption, and those who can't defend themselves with the truth deserve what they get. |

Hey John! Thanks for your input. The reason we went with Bravenet is simply to cut down on administration time. I apologize for some of the ads but I think it's a small price to pay for the spam protection and language filters that Bravenet offers. Take care! |
